If you were born before 1980, you may remember, but if you were born before 1960, you most certainly do remember Mr. Green Jeans – Captain Kangaroo’s friend who always wore a pair of green overalls and was interested in the outdoors. One day, when I gave a new friend a business card so she’d have all my contact information, she looked at my name and exclaimed, “You should call yourself Mrs. Green Jeans”. Not only am I a gardener with green thumbs, fingers, and toes, it’s a good play on my name. So, Mrs. Green Jeans came to be.

Just as Mr. Green Jeans helped the good Captain, I want to help you become the best gardener you can be. If you are a beginner and want a garden but don't know where to start or, if you already have a garden but want to learn more, I'll be your coach and will share my gardening knowledge and encourage you to do your best. Before long, you'll be gardening like a pro and you and all who see it will view your world with Absolute Wonder!
